Abstract

This research, titled "The Implications of an Appreciating Appearance in Youth Stories (2014-2016), is an attempt to study stories written by young people following a provocative attack on the Kurdistan region in the summer of 2014. This unexpected attack, according to statements by Kurdish political and military officials, Led, of course, to the destruction of sites that were occupied by a supporter and belonging to the Kurdistan region. As a result, many people living in major cities such as Sulaymaniyah, Erbil and Dohuk fled and left their homes for fear of harm and damage by gangs. The attacks coincided with the crisis between Erbil and Baghdad on the issues of budget and imports of the region and Iraq, which prompted the central government to impose financial sanctions on the province and cut the share of the region of the state budget, which in turn created a severe financial crisis in the province. As well as the continuation and even the intensification of internal conflicts between Kurdish political parties as a result of their incompatibility on constitutional and financial issues, especially the question of the presidency of the region, which culminated. All these circumstances led to the creation of many effects on the psychological situation and the social and economic conditions of all the people of Kurdistan, especially the young people who found themselves as the first and most important victims of these circumstances. This research is an attempt to analyze the speech stories of those young people who presented their speeches and opinions in this period. The study, with the help of theories of speech analysis, proved that their speeches bore pessimism and despair.
